What is Music Lingua? Overview:

Music Lingua is a program which uses music, movement, drama, art and storytelling to teach children foreign languages. We use music as a base, and incorporate manipulatives and visuals, and lots of TPR, to make lessons fun and engaging.  Kids learn while singing and playing, and retain the information longer because it’s set to music. In a Music Lingua program each student brings home a CD of the music and a bilingual lyrics booklet, so the learning continues even outside of class as the student listens to the songs at home and in the car.

Classes meet once a week for 45 Minutes with a minimum of 4 children.

Cost: $ 180 plus $ 40 for material. We reserve the right to cancel the class, if the minimum number of students is not met.

Spanish with Ana -  Room # 4

Class starts/ends: Wednesday, September 18th for 10 weeks -  last class December 4th (no class Oct. 31st and Nov 13th)

Class time: 12:25-12:35 (supervised lunch); 12:35-1:20 – language class

The no class on Oct 31st is confusing since it’s a Thursday (not a Wednesday so I would take that out).

Also, included should be no class 11/27 due to Thanksgiving break.
