Covid-19 FAQ's

 

My child isn't feeling well and has ONE of the covid 19 symptoms, what do I do?

Where can I go if I want to have my child tested?

  • Cabrillo College (Drive-Thru)

    Monday - Friday 2pm to 5pm and Saturday 9am to 5pm 

  • Walk-in only; no appointments

    Results currently are coming in within 24 hours!

    Register online first, visit:

    CABRILLO COLLEGE DRIVE THROUGH TEST SITE 

  • County Office of Education Annex at 399 Encinal St., Santa Cruz: M-F from 3pm-6pm

  • PVUSD DO, parking lot: M,W,F 9am-5pm

    No appointment is needed, but you do need to register online prior to your first visit:

    Monday - Friday 7am to 7pm

    Walk-ins; appointments preferred

My child is feeling better and we emailed the school the negative PCR results... now what?

  • Have your child come to the office to get a "GREEN class pass"  

I received a DIRECT exposure notice from the Principal (school), what do I do?

  • Read the whole email.  Decide which option is right for your family.  If you decide that you would like to quarantine please notify the office by calling 831-438-1090 - option #2, please leave a message if we aren't able to pick up the line.
  • If you are choosing to keep your child at school and participate in the modified quarantine you will need to makes sure we have your consent on file.  OPT-IN HERE for PCR testing

What if I don't want my child to be tested weekly BUT do want my child to participate in the modified quarantine when they receive a direct notification?

  • No problem!  Email Mrs. Neilsen at tneilsen@scottsvalleyusd.org she will make sure your child is only tested when a direct notification goes out to your child's class.

If I decide to stay home to quarantine due to receiving a POSITIVE exposure notice will I be able to get work that was missed?
