WHAT'S HAPPENING IN ROOM P2?

--New Book Clubs were assigned today; the first packet is due Next Friday 4/26.

--Final Book Report for the year will be assigned next week.  All 4th-grade classes will be focusing on Biographies.  I have given students a heads up and many are beginning to think about who they would like to research.  As usual,  reports will be a poster format and will be presented to the class in May.

--Current writing project is wrapping up; students had to research a state park or historical landmark in California and then create a travel brochure all about their park.  Final brochures will be due on Friday, April 26th (same day as book report).  If you have not seen your student's brochure yet, don't worry!  All of the work on this writing project has been completed in class! We will be holding our Publishing Party on Friday, May 3!
