Vine Hill PTA Open Positions 2022-2023

The Vine Hill PTA is a volunteer-run organization that fosters community among the teachers, staff, students and families at Vine Hill Elementary. The PTA also spearheads all fundraising activities to ensure academic programs including art, music, technology, and life lab are funded and that Vine Hill has enough yard duty staff, classroom aides and so much more that's needed for students and teachers to succeed! 

The PTA cannot be successful without your help. We encourage all to get involved! More information on open board positions, general committee positions and auction committee positions for next year is available below. Please register your interest via the form we have provided by Monday, May 2nd.  If you have any questions, please contact PTA President Maren Peduto at We will vote in the new positions at the last PTA meeting of the year, Tuesday, May 17th.  Attendance is not required.

VP of Fundraising

Works with the heads of each fundraiser to plan and organize fundraising activities. Focuses on raising the amount of funds needed to meet the PTA’s budget. Presents reports on proposed fundraising activities at board and association meetings.

Drive for Schools/Car Raffle Chair

Responsible for organizing and executing the car raffle fundraiser in the late Sept/October timeframe. Vroom, vroom!


Audits the books and financial records of the PTA to determine accuracy. Presents written reports on audits to the board and association. Forwards copies of adopted audits to district PTA.

Marketing Chair

Oversees and manages the marketing and public relations activities of the PTA. Promotes fundraisers and events through  social media and email correspondence

PTA Website Chair

Updates PTA Website throughout the school year to include current event and fundraising information

Lost and Found Chair

Reminds parents to check the Lost and Found on a regular basis and takes items to the Goodwill on a semi-monthly basis  

Auction Committee 

The annual auction series is the flagship fundraiser for the Vine Hill PTA, typically generating between $80,000 to $100,000 to fund academic programs and staff. The auction series is an exciting set of events including a very competitive/thrilling online auction plus a live auction & gala as well as adult and student sign-up parties! If you love collaborating with others, making new friends, getting creative and having fun all while making a difference in children's lives, consider getting involved! We are looking for volunteers with a range of skill sets to join our team. The auction is chaired by Liz Kramer.
